The England Lions softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Bigelow Panthers to 6 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, England improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Hazen (Hazen, AR) to clash with the Hornets in a 2A Region 6 game on Thursday, April 11. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 3-10.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs (North Little Rock, AR) in a 2A Region 5 game, on Friday, April 12. Bigelow will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR).
