Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cambria Heights Highlanders (Patton, PA), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Stingers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Shamokin for a Heritage challenge on Monday, April 15. Marion Center will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Purchase Line (Commodore, PA). The Wolves record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Cambria Heights falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA) to battle the Blue Jays in a Heritage challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Blue Jays enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. Conemaugh Valley won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA)
