The Chatham Cavaliers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host William Campbell Generals to 6 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Chatham moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Cavaliers host Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA) to play the Raiders in a Dogwood game on Friday, April 12. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 6-2. Appomattox County won 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA)

In their next game, the Generals play the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 15. William Campbell will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a 3-5 record after their 12-0 league loss to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA).
