The Clinton Comets routed the visiting Little Falls Mounties softball squad by a final score of 9-1 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Canastota (Canastota, NY). The Red Raiders go into the Section 3 Center State I battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Canastota was routed by Herkimer (Herkimer, NY), 8-7, in a non-league battle.

The Mounties now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Adirondack for a Section 3 Center State I battle on Monday, April 15. Little Falls will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Sherburne-Earlville (Sherburne, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
