Community Charter School of Cambridge Cougars (Cambridge, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Excel Academy Charter Wolves (East Boston, MA), 17-4 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Salem Academy Charter for a Massachusetts Charter Div. 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 23.

With the loss, Excel Academy Charter falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Pioneer Charter School of Science (Everett, MA) to battle the Panthers in a Massachusetts Charter Div. 1 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
