ConVal Cougars (Peterborough, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Stark Generals (Weare, NH), 19-7 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hanover for a Division II challenge on Monday, April 15.

With the loss, Stark falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Generals host Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH) to battle the The Pride in a Division II challenge on Friday, April 12. The The Pride enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
