Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Woodburn Bulldogs (Woodburn, OR), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lebanon for a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Friday, April 12. Corvallis will face a Warriors squad coming off a 6-1 league win over West Albany (Albany, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Woodburn falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR) to face the Raiders in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge on Friday, April 12. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Crescent Valley lost 17-1 in their recent league challenge against Dallas (Dallas, OR)
