The Mt. Markham Mustangs routed the visiting Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights softball squad by a final score of 11-4 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Canada Valley (Newport, NY). The Indians go into the Section 3 Center State II battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, West Canada Valley held off Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY), 11-2, in a league battle.
