Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hendrickson Hawks (Pflugerville, TX), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 25-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a 5A Region III District 23 challenge on Friday, April 12. Georgetown will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Elgin (Elgin, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-18.

With the loss, Hendrickson falls to 13-12 on the campaign. The Hawks host East View (Georgetown, TX) to battle the Patriots in a 5A Region III District 23 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 15-15. East View won 7-4 in their recent league challenge against Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX)
