The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) and the host Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), saw Hanks's softball squad achieve victory over Horizon by a count of 11-1.

The Knights now sport a 15-17 record. They take the field next when they host Del Valle for a 5A Region I District 2 match on Friday, April 12. Hanks will face a Conquistadores squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores record now stands at 23-2.

With the loss, Horizon falls to 9-18 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Ysleta (El Paso, TX) to face the Indians in a 5A Region I District 2 match on Friday, April 12. The Indians enter the match with a record of 29-3. Ysleta won 12-0 in their recent league match against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)
