The Holy Cross Crusaders the host Western Wayne Wildcats softball squad by a count of 11-7 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Crusaders (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Vikings go into the Lackawanna 3 battle with a 1-1 record.

The Wildcats now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, April 12. Western Wayne will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
