Jacksboro Tigers (Jacksboro, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Vernon Lions (Vernon, TX), 14-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 26-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Henrietta for a 3A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, April 12. Jacksboro will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 18-0 league win over City View (Wichita Falls, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Vernon falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Bowie (Bowie, TX) to face the Jackrabbits in a 3A Region I District 7 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Jackrabbits enter the challenge with a record of 1-11. Bowie lost 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX)
