Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Mountain for a Schuylkill I challenge on Thursday, April 11. Lehighton will face a Eagles squad coming off a 6-5 league win over North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Jim Thorpe falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Olympians host Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA) to face the Blue Raiders in a Schuylkill I challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Blue Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Tamaqua lost 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA)
