Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA), 8-5 in a league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host South Park for a WPIAL 3A 3 challenge on Friday, April 12. Seton LaSalle will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league win over McGuffey (Claysville, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Keystone Oaks falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA) to face the Raiders in a WPIAL 3A 3 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Waynesburg Central won 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Westerville South (Westerville, OH)
