In Wednesday's league contest, the Leakey Eagles (Leakey, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX), by a margin of 20-5.
With the triumph, Leakey moves its record to 17-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Brackett (Brackettville, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Monday, April 15. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 0-10.
In their next game, the Crushers play the D'Hanis Cowboys (D'Hanis, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 30 contest, on Tuesday, April 16. Knippa will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Cowboys come into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Pettus (Pettus, TX).
