The Lake Shore Eagles softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Pioneer Panthers to 1 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Lake Shore improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Silver Creek (Silver Creek, NY) to clash with the Black Knights in a non-league game on Monday, April 15. The Black Knights come into the game with a record of 3-1. Silver Creek won 21-2 in their recent non-league game against North Collins (North Collins, NY)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Cheektowaga Warriors (Cheektowaga, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County III game, on Tuesday, April 16. Pioneer will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
