The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA) and the host Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), saw Westmoreland's softball squad achieve victory over Lancaster by a count of 13-0.

The Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Essex for a Northern Neck match on Monday, April 15.

With the loss, Lancaster falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Hopewell (Hopewell, VA) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Friday, April 12. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 1-4. Hopewell lost 17-1 in their recent league match against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA)
