North Carolina High School Softball - South View tipped by Lumberton

April 10, 2024: Hope Mills, NC 28348

The Lumberton Pirates softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host South View Tigers to 2 in the Pirates league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Lumberton improves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Pirates host Fairmont (Fairmont, NC) to clash with the Golden Tornadoes in a non-league game on Saturday, April 13. The Golden Tornadoes come into the game with a record of 2-10. Fairmont lost 8-1 in their recent league game against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A game, on Tuesday, April 16. South View will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record.
