In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Melvindale Cardinals softball team scored a nice 22-2 win over the Robichaud Bulldogs.
Coming up next, the Cardinals battle the Crestwood Chargers (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne outing, on Monday, April 15. Melvindale will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 0-1 record after their 16-0 league loss to Garden City (Garden City, MI).
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Thurston (Redford, MI). The Eagles enter the Western Wayne outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Thurston was routed by King (Detroit, MI), 19-13, in a non-league outing.
