Utah High School Softball - Mountain Ridge holds off Pleasant Grove

The Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) softball the visiting Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT), 8-6 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Sentinels (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Riverton (Riverton, UT). The Silverwolves go into the 6A Region 2 bout with a 10-2 record. In their last bout, Riverton held off Herriman (West Herriman, UT), 15-0, in a league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Westlake for a 6A Region 3 bout on Thursday, April 11. Pleasant Grove will confront a Thunder squad coming off a 25-4 league win over Lone Peak (Highland, UT). The Thunder record now stands at 6-6.
