Whitehall Zephyrs (Whitehall, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Northampton Konkrete Kids (Northampton, PA), 4-1 in a league challenge.

The Zephyrs now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Pine Grove for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. Whitehall will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Northampton falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Konkrete kids travel to Bangor (Bangor, PA) to battle the Slaters in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Slaters enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Bangor won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA)
