California High School Softball - Oakmont knocked off by Ponderosa

April 10, 2024: Shingle Springs, CA 95682

In Wednesday's league contest, the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), by a margin of 9-0.

With the triumph, Ponderosa moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Bruins travel to West Park (Roseville, CA) to play the Panthers in a Foothill Valley League contest on Tuesday, April 16. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 6-3. West Park won 25-2 in their recent league contest against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA)

In their next game, the Vikings play the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a Foothill Valley League contest, on Tuesday, April 16. Oakmont will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record.
