Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA), 17-4 in a league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Ysidro for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. Sweetwater will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Montgomery (San Diego, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Southwest SD falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Raiders host Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA) to battle the Trojans in a Metro Pacific challenge on Friday, April 12. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 6-8. Castle Park lost 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA)
