The Lincoln-Way East Griffins baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts to 2 in the Griffins league win on Thursday.
The Griffins now hold a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln-Way West for a Southwest Suburban test on Friday, April 11. Lincoln-Way East will play a Warriors team coming off a 18-0 league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-0.
With the defeat, Andrew drops to 10-2 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Central (Burlington, IL) to play the Rockets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 6-2. Central lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Cary-Grove (Cary, IL)
