Louisiana High School Baseball - St. Charles Catholic nips Archbishop Shaw

The St. Charles Catholic Comets baseball team scored 2 runs and held the host Archbishop Shaw Eagles to 1 in the Comets league win on Thursday.

The Comets now hold a 20-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Covenant Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, April 11. St. Charles Catholic will play a Lions team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Fisher (Lafitte, LA). The Lions record now stands at 33-0.

With the defeat, Archbishop Shaw drops to 15-17 on the year. The Eagles travel to St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA) to play the Saints in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Saints go into the test with a record of 13-12. St. Martin's Episcopal won 9-3 in their recent non-league test against Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA)
