The Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL) baseball trounced the host Auburn Tigers (Auburn, AL), 11-5 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 21-11 record. They take the field next when they host Glenwood for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 12. Opelika will clash with a Gators team coming off a 7-1 league win over Beulah (Valley, AL). The Gators record now stands at 23-4.
With the defeat, Auburn drops to 15-15 on the year. The Tigers travel to Smiths Station (Smiths, AL) to clash with the Panthers in a 7A Area 4 challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 12-22. Smiths Station lost 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Central (Phenix City, AL)
