The Booneville Bearcats baseball team scored 25 runs and held the visiting Waldron Bulldogs to 0 in the Bearcats non-league win on Thursday.
The Bearcats now hold a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charleston for a 3A Region 4 test on Friday, April 11. Booneville will play a Tigers team coming off a 4-0 league win over Cossatot River (Cove, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 7-3.
With the defeat, Waldron drops to 3-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Ozark (Ozark, AR) to play the Hillbillies in a 4A Region 4 test on Friday, April 11. The Hillbillies go into the test with a record of 9-6.
