The Perryville Mustangs baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Clinton Yellowjackets to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.
The Mustangs now hold a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harmony Grove for a 3A Region 7 test on Friday, April 11. Perryville will play a Cardinals team coming off a 7-3 league loss to Dover (Dover, AR). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-4.
With the defeat, Clinton drops to 2-10 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 11-5. Valley Springs won 9-6 in their recent league test against Flippin (Flippin, AR)
