The Colts Neck Cougars baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Monmouth Regional Falcons to 4 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hopewell Valley Central for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Colts Neck will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Monmouth Regional drops to 2-3 on the year. The Falcons host Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ) to clash with the Green Wave in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Green Wave go into the test with a record of 3-2. Long Branch won 10-1 in their recent league test against Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ)
