California High School Baseball - Selma defeats Exeter

April 10, 2025: Exeter, CA 93221

The Selma Bears baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Exeter Monarchs to 0 in the Bears league win on Thursday.

The Bears now hold a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sierra for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Selma will play a Chieftains team coming off a 1-0 league win over Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 12-4.

With the defeat, Exeter drops to 12-5 on the year. The Monarchs travel to Mendota (Mendota, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Aztecs go into the test with a record of 5-7. Mendota lost 8-6 in their recent league test against Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA)
