North Carolina High School Baseball - First Flight defeats Holmes

April 10, 2025: Edenton, NC 27932

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) and the host Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), saw First Flight's baseball team gain a win over Holmes by a tally of 9-2.

The Nighthawks (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Nash Central was overwhelmed by Bunn (Bunn, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Aces face the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A battle, on Monday, April 14. Holmes will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 11-4 record after their 8-0 league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC).
