The Gaithersburg Trojans baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles to 9 in the Trojans non-league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarksburg for a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Saturday, April 12.

With the defeat, Seneca Valley drops to 2-7 on the year. The Screamin' eagles travel to Blair (Silver Spring, MD) to clash with the Blazers in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Blazers go into the test with a record of 6-4. Blair lost 9-4 in their recent non-league test against Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD)
