In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Gordo Green Wave baseball team scored a nice 14-1 win over the Oakman Wildcats.

The Green Wave (19-12) will now prepare for their game against Northside (Northport, AL). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 20-8 record. In their last game, Northside American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL), 4-4, in a league game.

Next, the Wildcats play the Indian Springs Student (Pelham, AL) in a 4A Area 7 game, on Saturday, April 12. Oakman will attempt to improve on its 16-17 season record. The Student go into the game with a 9-9 record after their 17-9 league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, AL).
