In Thursday's league game, the visiting Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn Rockets baseball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Henry-Senachwine Mallards.

The Rockets (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 10-1 record. In their last game, Herscher nudged Iroquois West (Gilman, IL), 9-2, in a non-league game.
