The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Marmaton Valley Wildcats (Moran, KS) and the host Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks (Mound City, KS), saw Marmaton Valley's baseball team gain a win over Jayhawk Linn by a tally of 13-6.

The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Uniontown (Uniontown, KS). The Eagles enter the Three Rivers battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Uniontown was overwhelmed by Galena (Galena, KS), 17-11, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Jayhawks face the Southeast Lancers (Cherokee, KS) in a Three Rivers battle, on Monday, April 14. Jayhawk Linn will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Lancers enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Baxter Springs (Baxter Springs, KS).
