The Lutheran Crusaders baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes to 1 in the Crusaders league win on Thursday.

The Crusaders now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Unity Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Lutheran will play a Lions team coming off a 24-7 league loss to Cumberland (Toledo, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Tri-City drops to 2-7 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Litchfield (Litchfield, IL) to play the Purple Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Purple Panthers go into the test with a record of 10-4. Litchfield won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Jersey (Jerseyville, IL)
