The McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR) baseball trounced the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR), 13-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Mountain Lions now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a 6A Portland Interscholastic challenge on Wednesday, April 16.

With the defeat, Roosevelt drops to 4-8 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Skyview (Vancouver, WA) to clash with the Storm in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 11. The Storm go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Skyview won 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against R.A. Long (Longview, WA)
