In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Mills University Studies Comets baseball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Parkview Patriots.
The Comets (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Cobras go into the 4A Region 5 South game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Fountain Lake knocked off Mountain Pine (Mountain Pine, AR), 12-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Patriots play the Vilonia Eagles (Vilonia, AR) in a 5A Central game, on Tuesday, April 15. Parkview will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 7-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to Maumelle (Maumelle, AR).
