In Thursday's non-league game, the host Santa Fe Wildcats baseball team scored a close 8-7 victory over the Perry County Vikings.

The Wildcats (5-11) will now prepare for their game against Zion Christian Academy (Columbia, TN). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Zion Christian Academy held off Clarksville Christian (Clarksville, TN), 12-2, in a league game.

Next, the Vikings face the Collinwood Trojans (Collinwood, TN) in a 1A District 11 game, on Monday, April 14. Perry County will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 12-3 league win over Hughes (Clifton, TN).
