Arkansas High School Baseball - Pocahontas nips Westside

The Pocahontas Redskins baseball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Westside Warriors to 18 in the Redskins league win on Thursday.
The Redskins now hold a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trumann for a non-league test on Friday, April 11. Pocahontas will play a Wildcats team coming off a 17-1 league loss to Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-9.
With the defeat, Westside drops to 6-10 on the year. The Warriors host Corning (Corning, AR) to play the Bobcats in a non-league test on Friday, April 11. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 9-2. Corning won 10-5 in their recent league test against Rector (Rector, AR)
