In Thursday's non-league bout, the Westside Rebels (Coal Hill, AR) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR), by a tally of 23-16.
Next up, the Rebels encounter the Danville Little Johns (Danville, AR) in a 2A Region 4 bout, on Friday, April 11. Westside will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Little Johns enter the bout with a 5-9 record after their 26-21 non-league win over Mount Ida (Mount Ida, AR).
The Rockets (7-5) will now prepare for their bout against Conway Christian (Conway, AR). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Conway Christian edged Bigelow (Bigelow, AR), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
