West Virginia High School Baseball - Winfield defeats South Charleston

April 10, 2025: Winfield, WV 25213

In Thursday's non-league game, the host Winfield Generals baseball team scored a close 5-0 win over the South Charleston Black Eagles.

The Generals (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders go into the non-league game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Huntington nudged Riverside (Belle, WV), 5-0, in a league game.

Next, the Black Eagles play the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 11. South Charleston will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 5-4 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV).
