In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Douglass Academy Lions lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-6 win over the Bronx High School of Science Wolverines.
The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Hills (Forest Hills, NY). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Forest Hills by Beach Channel (Rockaway Park, NY), 9-2, in a non-league contest.
