North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Porter Ridge Sun Valley

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-12 triumph over the Sun Valley Spartans.

The Pirates (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks go into the Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Marvin Ridge held off Weddington (Matthews, NC), 10-6, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River challenge, on Monday, April 14. Sun Valley will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 10-4 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).
