St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) followers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC), 19-5 in a league game.

With the victory, St. Stephens advances its record to 8-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to play the Panthers in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills game on Wednesday, April 16. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 2-5.

The Pioneers now sport a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Stokes for a non-league game on Monday, April 14.
