In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Brevard Blue Devils soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 win over the Polk County Wolverines.

The Blue Devils (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses enter the non-league outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Owen tipped Mitchell (Bakersville, NC), 9-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Wolverines confront the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 11. Polk County will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 2-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC).
