The North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), 5-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Raiders now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Statesville for a Western Foothills 3A challenge on Friday, April 11. North Iredell will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, Central Academy moves to 5-11 on the year. The Cougars travel to Piedmont (Monroe, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Monday, April 14. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Piedmont won 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC)
