Alabama High School Soccer - Northside Methodist Academy knocks off Long

In Thursday's league outing, the host Northside Methodist Academy Knights soccer squad scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Long Rebels.

The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Ariton (Ariton, AL). The Purple Cats go into the 1A-3A Area 2 outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Ariton was overwhelmed by Providence Christian (Dothan, AL), 10-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Rebels play the Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, April 11. Long will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 15-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, AL).
