In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Bloomfield Bobcats baseball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the Shiprock Chieftains.
The Bobcats (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots go into the game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Miyamura was overwhelmed by Aztec (Aztec, NM), 11-9, in a non-league game.
Next, the Chieftains play the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 12. Shiprock will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Bengals go into the game with a 1-7 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM).
