The Old Lyme Wildcats lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Cromwell Panthers to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Old Saybrook for a Shoreline challenge on Saturday, April 12. Old Lyme will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 20-8 league win over Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Cromwell falls to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers host North Branford (North Branford, CT) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a Shoreline challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. North Branford won 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against North Haven (North Haven, CT)
